Over the next few weeks I am going to be bringing us back to some of my most viewed YouTube videos. I’m working hard behind the scenes to continue bringing you the most valuable videos and eventually group coaching with a course! In addition to this I’m hoping to slowly transition our household (i.e. my husband and niece) back into a normal routine, giving me more alone time with the dogs- FINALLY! This introverted heart needs some alone time, haha.
The first video I want to revisit was the first one I posted after we returned from our honeymoon. At the time I had originally planned to do a video on how to prep your dog when you leave on vacation- jokes on me! It didn’t seem very practical to share that when everyone was being told to stay home! I just can’t believe it’s already been two months since I said ‘here are some things to do during this quarantine time for the next two weeks.’ Alas, I digress.
Since many people are still under stay at home orders and this was a popular video on YouTube I thought it was the best one to start with. Last week on Instagram I went live throughout the week showing how easily you can train your dog in less than 10 minutes a day, simply by staying consistent over time. The ideas in this video are exactly the kinds of behaviors you can continue working on while each day while you are home with your dog. Once they have picked up on one behavior, you can start developing the next and so on. Remember to always go back to where you last had success if you or your dog starts to struggle.
If you need any other ideas or help working with your dog, please reach out! I know I say this every time, but it’s because I truly mean it- I love helping you and your dog!
