This week on the blog and YouTube I’m introducing you to our littlest in size, biggest in personality, member of the pack, Rooster.
Last week I shared Rufus’s story and this week I’m sharing Rooster’s.
We’ve had Rooster for almost exactly 2 years and boy has he brought so much to our lives. He challenges me regularly with his anxious, chihuahua tendencies. His ability to learn anything and focus when he wants to is something that I appreciate about him, something that Rufus doesn’t have. However, his puppy ADD and anxiety definitely make it challenging to remain patient with him.
This year I decided my word of the year would be ‘patience’. This word is something I will use to remind myself in every area of my life as I’m naturally not a very patient person. When I think of Rooster, I think of how God gives you the things you need in your life, not what you want. If you pray for patience, He will give you something to be patient about; 2 years ago I don’t remember specifically praying for patience, but God knew I needed it and hence brought me Rooster.
